Day 4 of 42 Days of pizza! A little puffy from not enough water yesterday, but my weight is still down from yesterday morning! Weekends are my rest days, so I am eager to hit the ground running again this afternoon! So much energy pent up inside, despite a lack of sleep!

Current weight: 144 (leg day Friday, sprints Saturday - water retention!)

Day 3 of 42 Days of pizza! My weight is up a pound from my HUGE meal at 2:30 a.m.! My husband got home late from a comedy gig and we stayed up waaaaay too late talking about comedy, vlogs, and who knows what else. Then we got hungry and since I was behind on macros anyway, I got all caught up with an omelet, rice cakes, and a giant protein shake. It was so good! Today, I'm sore from yesterday's sprints! Hurts so good.

Food Intake: 

Calories 1502 (a little lower since it was a rest day)
Protein: 26%
Carbs: 38%
Fat: 36%

Sound quality is really crappy on this one, and I figured out why afterwards! It'll be fixed for the next one!

Okay, As promised, here is my Day 2 snapshot next to the Day 1 photo. I'll also be posting these on my Facebook page, as well as Instagram and Snapchat.

 

I'll also give you a daily weight update, just so you can see how things fluctuate and how the scale really doesn't matter at all. :-)

Starting Stats:
Weight: 142.6

Current Stats:
Weight: 143.0 (up .4 from yesterday)

If there are any other stats you'd like to see me track throughout this challenge, please let me know! Measurements, perhaps?

As mentioned in the video, today was really hectic and it was difficult for me to get all my calories in. That is rarely a problem for me. I loooove to eat. A lot. But you know, life happens and sometimes things just don't go as planned! It used to derail me, but now I just roll with the punches and move on. Thank you again for joining me on this fun challenge; I'm excited to have you along for the ride!

Hey everyone! Here are some details not mentioned in the video that you might like to know:

Starting weight: 142.6
Body Fat % (measured with calipers):  17.9%
Lean Body Mass: 117.07 lbs.
Pounds of Fat: 25.53 lbs.
Height: 5'7"

I'll post this "day one" photo next to a current photo each day throughout this challenge so you can see my progress. I honestly don't care about the scale OR my body fat percentage. But I know many people will be interested to see how / if the numbers change. 

 

Next week, before this challenge goes too much further, I would also like to get my cholesterol, blood pressure, etc., checked and then have it checked again at the end of the six weeks to see how those numbers are affected.

I didn't worry too much about it at the beginning because the purpose of this is not to encourage others to do this exact thing. The purpose is to help you gather the courage to start, knowing you won't have to give up your favorite foods forever.
