NLA for Her "Her Superfoods" Performance Chews Product Review
I recently tried NLA for Her’s “Her Superfoods” Performance Chews. I love most NLA for Her products and am always eager to try new things, so I was pretty excited about this - after all, I like anything that makes me think I'm having candy! But how did these turn out? Was it pleasant or disappointing?
Product Description: Superfood Blend for Women. 26 Fruits and Veggies. Contains minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants.
Flavor: Very Cherry Cranberry
Allergents: Soy and Wheat
One chew contains 20 calories, 0.5 fats, 4 carbs, and 0 proteins (no sugar, either!).
Primary Ingredients: Apple, Carrot, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Brussel Sprout, Tomato, Kale, Spinach, Beet, Celery, Wheat Grass, Radish, Grape Seed Extract, Onion, Leek or Yellow Pepper, Wild Blueberry, Raspberry and Raspberry Seed Concentrate, Cranberry, Prune, Tart Cherry, Strawberry, Bilberry, Grape, Blueberry Extract, Bilberry Extract
1. Chewable! Yippee!
2. I get the benefits of those foods without having to eat kale or leeks. Or wheat grass. Hey, I like healthy foods, but 80% of that stuff is not on my shopping list.
3. Affordable – at the time I purchased them to test them, they were only $19.99 on Bodybuilding.com for a one-month supply (and a free pink shaker bottle for a limited time!).
1. The flavor isn’t great, but when you consider all the fruits and veggies that are in them, I’m surprised they taste as good as they do! But you won’t be tempted to eat two.
WORTH IT? If you’re a super taster (you know, the kind who can’t eat anything if it’s not delicious), then do not purchase. Get them in pill form instead. But if you’re eager to get the health benefits of those foods without having to actually eat them, you should try these! Even though they’re not the best-tasting, they’re decent enough that I never forget to take them!
